* Find English classes
* Get your language assessment (Canadian Language Benchmark level)
* Register your children for school
* Find employment
* Apply for the Manitoba Health card, Social Insurance Number, and other important information and documents
* Find other services and resources in your community
* Learn more about immigration and citizenship

Who is Eligible?
You are qualified to use our services if you have:
* Permanent resident status
* Canadian citizenship, if you were born outside Canada
* Refugee status
* A letter of nomination from the Province of Manitoba

The Immigrant Resource Program provides a welcoming environment to newcomers in Portage la Prairie and the surrounding areas. Our goal is to assist them in settling and integrating into the local community.
